One little leak was enough for me to get my water heater replaced. I know better than to wait! But who to call? The company that installed my last heater about nine years ago gave me a good heater, but getting information from them was like pulling teeth (I actually had a tooth pulled, so I know what I'm talking about). I called that same company again and the same thing. The responses where short and sounded as if to say "why do you have to bother me, I've got better things to do!"
This brings me to Mark and Rick of Nationwide Home Plumbing. I got prompt service and all the information I needed to make a decision. But I digress. All in all I called 4 companies to get an estimate, including their response time to the urgency of the situation. Out of those four it came down to two companies. Nationwide and another with the identical product. The other company was, just like Nationwide, courteous and forthcoming with any information I wanted. I definitely would have dealt with that company, thanks to the friendly demeanor of Jacky. Nationwide was my choice because of a better price.
I am glad that I went with Mark and Rick. They worked hard, giving the installation their fullest attention. Extra work was required in completing the job. Throughout it all, they didn't complain once or hinted about the extra work involved. When the work was done, I could see immediately that it was done with great care, correcting some lousy work done by the previous installers. They both left with a smile and the question now is: Would I go with them again, or should I recommend them to my friends? The answer, as you might expect, is very, very simply put this way: "Yes, Yes, and YES!
All that's yet to be concluded is the rebate situation with FortisBC, and with the forms properly filled out by Nationwide, I expect to get that ($200) in no time flat.

Rick and Mark are a Dad/ Son team which I really liked and Rick the Father( as he was the one I talked to first) was so knowledgeable about the different water tanks in the market , it put us to ease, that we made the right decision by going with the Bradford White. I would definitely use them again and for sure refer them to any of our friends or anyone that I come across that is looking for a trustworthy , reliable, and knowledgeable Plumber/Gas fitter etc.

When I talked to Mark on the phone this morning, they seemed a bit busy, and I was skeptical they'd get to me today (they say same day service). Surprisingly, the plumbers arrived right on time. Mark said 3pm and they arrived at 3pm on the nose. I was impressed! They wore some covering over their shoes even though I told them they could leave their shoes on. It took longer than they expected to get our old hot water tank out - sorry about the crawlspace guys - so I was thinking there would be an extra charge, but there wasn't. The plumbers were knowledgable, and well mannered. I would use Nationwide Home Plumbing Service again. I'm a happy camper. Thank you Mark and Rick!

We were very pleased with the service we received from this company when our hot water tank failed. Their prices were very good, they were able to provide service the very next day even though we did not contact them until two p.m. the previous day. They quoted exactly what they would be charging us and they let us know about the Fortis rebate program. They arrived on time and completed the work very quickly. They went over everything with us, explaining how the new hot water tank worked. We had contacted other contractors who didn't even come close to Home Plumbing in price or in service. We will definitely use this company again.
